David C. Evans, M.D.

Dr. Evans grew up in the Salt Lake Valley. After he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rice University in Texas, he completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine and was inducted into AOA. He then completed orthopaedic training at the Harvard Combined Residency Program in Boston, MA followed by an Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in Florida where he honed his joint replacement skills and expanded his expertise to include robotics. During his training Dr. Evans also spent time at Oxford University in the United Kingdom where he broadened his exposure to alternative techniques used in Europe. He focuses on hip and Knee replacement with exposure to sports medicine. In his free time he enjoys biking, hiking, playing tennis or pickleball, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Evans focuses on individualized care tailored to patient needs. Through the use of specialized techniques including robotic surgery every patient is approached on a case-by-case basis. Dr. Evans also cares about establishing fundamental relationships with his patients and encourages long-term follow up to maintain proper care.
